I was going to write a blog post about something I’ve been meditating on from Scripture.

Wednesday’s school shooting makes it impossible.

Instead, I’ll simply share this link from the BBC:

It’s time to do something.

What will you do? 

I’m telling you it’s got to be something in addition to praying for the families of the victims.

Maybe visit the organization started by former representative Gabby Giffords and her husband. Wounded during a mass shooting at one of her own meetings with constituents, she knows the costs of gun violence.

I don’t want any debates on the blog (if the post upsets you, please feel free to unsubscribe). But if you have an action you’re going to take in the wake of this tragedy that seems to be occurring so frequently, I would love to hear it.

Because I’m shattered. And I just can’t take it anymore.
