NEW BOOK: The 29 Cent Baby Jesus

Who doesn’t love a great Christmas story? Author Carol Cool pens a delightful children’s book and hopes you’ll enjoy it with the children in your life this year. Here’s a little bit about the story…

Sarah loves decorating for Christmas with her mommy. But when setting up the Christmas creche with all the characters from the nativity story, Sarah notices something very strange about the baby Jesus figurine. What does it all mean? The 29¢ Baby Jesus is a family Christmas picture book that leads us all to consider just how much Jesus is worth to us.

As an added bonus, your children (and you!) will have fun searching for the hidden “29¢” scattered throughout the book!

… Can You Find It In This Picture?

Sarah loves to put up the crèche set her family collected long ago. But why does the Baby Jesus figurine have a strange 29¢ on the bottom?

As Sarah discovers the meaning, she worries that people will think her family does not think very much of Jesus. She investigates the problem and looks for a way to make it all better. She wants everyone to know that Jesus is the most important part of Christmas!

Enjoy the story… and a game of hide and seek!

As you read the book be on the lookout for a tiny 29¢ hidden in the illustrations.

How many can you find?!

“I own the creche set this story is based on!” – Carol Cool

As a mother and teacher, I love how this story weaves the valuable lesson of Jesus’ worth with a child’s perspective. A wonderful story, it can be used to both entertain and teach. I may never look at a creche the same way again. ” – Jen Teale, East Petersburg, PA
